The 13-slot Cisco Catalyst 6513-E Switch provides high port densities that are ideal for many wiring closet, distribution, and core network as well as data center deployments with exceptional functionality and flexibility. Supervisor engine redundancy and power redundancy supporting deliver the low latency and high scalability network experience to ensure superior reliability for edging or core network. Any two Cisco Catalyst 6500E series Switches with Supervisor Engine 720-3C/720-3CXL/S2T-10G/S2T-10G-XL can be pooled together into a VSS, the Chassis delivers up to 180 Gbps per-slot bandwidth and will be capable of delivering up to 8 Tbps of system bandwidth.
The 13-slot Cisco Catalyst 6513-E switch chassis is for high-performance, high-port-density Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, and 10 Gigabit Ethernet aggregation throughout the network. With up to 11 payload slots available, this chassis offers industry-leading 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet and 10 Gigabit Ethernet port densities and great network resilience.
