The line cards of the C9600 Series are designed with high availability in mind. They have very high Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), and the C9600-LC-48YL has 640,750 hours MTBF. It is equipped with features such as patching, Graceful Insertion and Removal (GIR), and redundant platinum-rated power supplies and fans. It is targeted for the enterprise campus core deployments.
