The Cisco GLC-LH-SMD is a genuine 1000BASE-LX/LH SFP transceiver designed for Gigabit Ethernet over single-mode fiber up to 10 km. It supports DOM (Digital Optical Monitoring) for real-time link diagnostics and is IEEE 802.3z and SFP MSA compliant. The module is hot-swappable and integrates seamlessly into Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, and ISR platforms.
