The Cisco 4000 Family Integrated Services Router (ISR) enhances WAN communications in enterprise branches, tailored for application-aware networking in sites with limited IT resources. The router dynamically routes traffic based on current application and network conditions, ensuring optimal application performance and efficient bandwidth usage. The Cisco ISR4221/K9 Router comes with 2 onboard GE, 2 NIM slots, 1 ISC slot, 8 GB Flash Memory default, 4 GB DRAM default. New services can be activated on demand through simple licensing changes.
