The modular Cisco 4000 Series Integrated Services Routers (ISRs) delivers LAN and WAN connectivity, and offer Network Interface Module (NIM) slots as well as Enhanced service module (SM-X) slots. These slots support a plethora of modules that include LAN, WAN, and Wireless Interfaces, and a range of Compute engines that enable embedded services. With its licenses, the ISR4431/K9 model offers a high-performance capacity, delivering over 4Gbps aggregate throughput capacity.
